A complete construction scope
A clean installation depends on preparation and planning.
Flooring runs through doorways, halls, closets, stairs and adjoining rooms. Product thickness, subfloor flatness, moisture conditions, transitions and expansion clearances all affect the final result.
We measure the contracted areas, review the existing surface and document whether demolition, floor leveling, moisture mitigation, furniture moving, baseboards and disposal are included.
For standalone single-trade scopes, work is contracted and performed consistent with California licensing requirements, including appropriately licensed specialty trade partners when required.

Final work is based on existing conditions, approved plans when applicable, and your written construction agreement.
Removal & Disposal
Remove contracted carpet, tile, laminate, baseboards or other surfaces and dispose of debris as specified.
Subfloor Preparation
Scrape, grind, patch or level included areas and identify moisture or substrate conditions that require added work.
Flooring Installation
Install the approved LVP, laminate, hardwood or tile system with suitable layout, spacing and fastening methods.
Transitions & Stairs
Install specified reducers, T-moldings, stair components or coordinated carpet where the scope requires them.
Baseboards & Closeout
Install or reinstall contracted baseboards, caulk included joints, clean the work area and complete the walkthrough.

Floor preparation
The flooring warranty does not repair an uneven slab.
Manufacturer requirements and visible site conditions guide preparation. Significant leveling, moisture mitigation, damaged subfloor replacement or concealed adhesive removal is documented before extra work proceeds.

What homeowners ask before starting.
Do you provide the flooring material?
Yes. We can price labor only, labor plus standard installation materials, or a complete supply-and-install scope. The proposal identifies the product, quantity, waste allowance and owner-provided items.
Is floor leveling included?
Minor preparation may be included when described. Significant grinding, patching, self-leveling or subfloor replacement is priced from visible conditions or handled by written change order if discovered after removal.
Can you install new baseboards?
Yes. New baseboards, removal of existing trim, caulking and paint touch-up should each be listed separately so the finish responsibility is clear.
Can flooring be installed while we live in the home?
Often yes. We establish room access, furniture responsibility, dust control, pet safety and curing or no-traffic periods before scheduling.
How much extra flooring should be ordered?
Waste depends on room layout, plank size, pattern, stairs and future repair needs. A typical allowance is confirmed after measurement and product selection rather than assumed from square footage alone.
